John Suldosky
Food Brings Hope Director
Service has always been an integral part of John Sudolsky’s work. He began his career in the food service industry, working various front and back-of-house positions at private member clubs in New York City, where he honed his people skills and customer service abilities.
John’s nonprofit journey started as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Food Bank for New York City, where he focused on connecting people to services beyond food. He then transitioned to work with a food bank in Philadelphia, where he spent nearly six years combating food insecurity and helped grow the food bank into the largest in the region. John demonstrated innovation by launching a home delivery program that provided food boxes to vulnerable seniors, immigrants, and persons with disabilities. This program, which grew to serve nearly 4,000 recipients per month, remains a mainstay of the food bank.
John feels fortunate to work with FBH Community, where he can channel his passion for service. He is committed to making a difference in the lives of students in Volusia and Flagler counties by enhancing their academic growth through KidsZone, TeenZone, and FBHonors programming.
In his personal time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, going on walks and hikes, and traveling.

Grant Administrator
It’s hard to imagine a more fulfilling next step than joining an organization that helps students in my hometown reach their full potential. After 15 rewarding years of owning and operating Zest, a boutique catering and meal prep service in Volusia County, I decided it was time to leave the foodservice trenches and refocus on my passion for community impact.
I recently joined the FBH Community as a Grant Administrator—though it’s more accurate to say I’ve “rejoined.” I previously served as FBH’s Executive Director in 2013–2014, during which I helped plan and host the inaugural Pearls of Hope fundraising gala. Over the years, I’ve remained connected as a volunteer on the gala committee and have been thrilled to see its remarkable growth. The 2025 Pearls of Hope Gala recently netted over $500,000 in support of FBH’s mission.
Prior to launching Zest, my career was focused on developing and executing marketing programs for sponsors in the motor racing industry. These experiences honed my skills in strategy, relationship-building, and project execution, which continue to inform my work today.
