There is no place like home. Yet for many, home ownership is nothing more than a dream. But now, community leaders have come together to help people fulfill their dream of owning their own home. If you are working or have federal assistance income but cannot accumulate enough money to become a homeowner, Homes Bring Hope may be able to help.

Homes Bring Hope is an FBH Community organization. As such, it is committed to fighting homelessness, unemployment and poverty in our community. This work is achieved with the support of generous donors, skilled staff professionals and dedicated volunteers.

Life Changing Statistics

Homes Bring Hope focuses on creating lasting pathways to homeownership for individuals and families in the Daytona Beach area. Through education, guidance, and access to critical resources, the organization helps remove barriers that prevent qualified residents from purchasing a home. This work strengthens long-term financial stability, supports family security, and contributes to healthier, more resilient communities by promoting stable housing and economic opportunity.

A Warm Welcome on Fulton Stree

FBH Community and Homes Bring Hope were honored to celebrate a special series of Homewarmings for five Volusia County Schools employees and their families. These milestones represent more than new addresses—they mark the beginning of new memories, new opportunities, and a stronger foundation for the future.
This achievement was made possible through the generosity of Volusia County Schools, who donated the land for these homes, and through the collaboration of several dedicated community partners. Thanks to the support of Bank of America, each family also received brand-new appliances, adding another layer of comfort and stability to their homes.
At FBH Community, we believe that every student deserves a safe place to learn, and every family deserves a safe place to call home. Thanks to this partnership, five families are now living that reality.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Volusia County Schools, Bank of America, and the many partners who share in this vision. By joining forces, we are building stronger communities—one home at a time.

Celebrating the Dream of Homeownership

FBH Community is proud to celebrate the inspiring journey of Lajuan Young, a dedicated AdventHealth employee who worked two jobs to make his dream of owning a home a reality. As the first homeowner in his family, Lajuan’s achievement reflects the perseverance, commitment, and hope that define the mission of the Homes Bring Hope program.
With this milestone, Lajuan and his family join the Homes Bring Hope community, where the foundation of stability, generational wealth, and strong neighborhood ties can begin to flourish.

Congratulations, Mr. Frederick O’Neil!

We are thrilled to celebrate Mr. O’Neil, who officially became a homeowner on Wednesday, May 28th! He is now the proud owner of a beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath home — a dream made real through hard work, perseverance, and hope.
Mr. O’Neil, a dedicated father of two amazing sons — one of whom is a proud student in the Lemerand Center for Excellence FBH program — has shown unwavering determination throughout the homebuying process. As a disabled individual and a client of Daytona Beach Housing Authority, his journey wasn’t always easy, but his strength and commitment have truly inspired us all. We are grateful to the team members at DBHA and Mr.Charles Goodyear, CEO, for their help and support.
His success is a powerful reminder that homeownership through Homes Bring Hope is possible. We are so proud to stand beside Mr. O’Neil as he takes this life-changing step forward. Here’s to new beginnings, strong families, and the power of community!
